How users opt in

Vaylo Fitness sends SMS messages only to users who create or sign into a Vaylo Fitness account, verify their mobile phone number, and explicitly enable coaching texts inside the Vaylo Fitness iOS app. Consent is given directly to Vaylo Fitness and is not purchased, transferred, or obtained through a third party.

  1. Open the Vaylo Fitness iOS app and go to Settings.
  2. Select Calls & Texts.
  3. Enter a mobile phone number.
  4. Complete phone verification with the SMS code sent through Twilio Verify.
  5. Turn on Allow coaching texts.

The app also provides a separate Allow coaching calls setting. Users may allow calls, texts, both, or neither.

The Calls & Texts screen tells users that Vaylo may send conversational and reminder texts, that message and data rates may apply, and that users may reply STOP to opt out.

Types of SMS messages

Opted-in users may receive SMS messages related to their Vaylo Fitness use, including:

  • Conversational coaching messages from the user's selected fitness coach
  • Workout, meal, and progress check-ins
  • Reminder-style coaching messages
  • Account support replies related to Vaylo Fitness

Message frequency varies based on user activity and preferences. Message and data rates may apply.

Privacy protection for mobile information

Vaylo Fitness does not share, sell, rent, or otherwise provide mobile phone numbers, SMS opt-in data, SMS opt-out data, or messaging consent information to any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

Mobile opt-in and consent data is used only to provide user-requested Vaylo Fitness calls, texts, verification, reminders, coaching, and account support.

How users opt out or get help

Users can turn off coaching texts in the Vaylo Fitness app at any time. Users may also reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe, or reply HELP for help.
